Early Treatment
Bring your child for a complimentary consultation by age 7.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that every child receives an orthodontic screening by the age 7. By evaluating a patient early, we are able to recognize potential problems and correct them before they become more serious.
During your child’s initial visit we will first determine if there are any problems that need to be addressed, such as habits, potential crowding, overbite, underbite, open bite, crossbite, and other malocclusions. It is possible that immediate treatment is not necessary at this time.
In that case, we will see your child on an observation basis until it is apparent whether or not treatment is necessary. However, if orthodontic treatment is indicated, we will create a personalized treatment plan for your child that will prove to be the most beneficial.
